Foreigner- Prudential Center, NJ 6/26/14

Foreigner returned to the tri-state area to co-headline "The Soundtrack Of Summer Tour" with Styx. Don Felder was the shows opener.

Foreigner always seem to be on the road touring. Early this year they were headlining the US, then went overseas and now they are back out with Styx on this huge summer tour. The great thing about this tour was that Foreigner closed half the dates and Styx closed the other half. Meaning it was truly a dual headlining tour with a great line up for classic rock fans. Foreigner closed this show at the Prudential Center in NJ and put on a high energy performance from the beginning. I really like how every member of Foreigner looks like they are having a great time on stage.

Singer Kelly Hansen loves to work the crowd and this also involves making a trip out into the crowd during the show. Mick Jones showed no signs of slowing down and displayed his guitar skills with an extended guitar solo during "Starrider" as he was surrounded by a circle of laser lights. The band also brought out kids from the local prep school. They came on stage to help with vocals during "I Want to Know What Love Is". This tour continues through August and is great value for concert fans.

Camera info: Canon 70D w/18-135 F3.5-5.6 & Panasonic LX7. Mick Jones came onstage from song 5 on, so we shot songs 4-6 from the pit and some wide stage shots from the back of the arena. All three acts had great lighting. Show set list is below. *Click on any picture to expand*
