It seemed like only a few years ago that Chris Daughtry was in the final 4 on American Idol. It's actually been 8 years since the show and he has now released 4 albums including his latest "Baptized". They did 6 songs from this album including the newest single "Battleships". What's great about Daughtry's voice is that it's just as amazing live than on his CD's and he brings plenty of energy to the stage. Daughtry and his band put on an incredible show, although a tad short. You could tell the Daughtry fans in the crowd wanted these guys to play a couple more tunes and I did notice a few people leave after his set. I guess they were just to young to know the Goo Goo Dolls. I did see Daughtry once before on a headline tour back in April 2012.
Venue info & camera gear: My first time at Bethel Woods and this is hands down one of the nicest outdoor concert venues I have been to. Beautiful layout and grounds, great food and friendly staff. Shot first 3 songs from the pit with Canon 70D and Canon 18-135 F3.5-5.6
