Steel Panther- The Paramount, NY 4/24/13

Steel Panther brought their "Spreading the Disease" (STD) headlining tour to "The Paramount" in Huntington, NY.

This was fifth time seeing the panther and they never disappoint. How can you not like a band that rip on each other and then go "balls out" on 14 songs from there last 2 albums. Michael, Satchel, Lexxi & Stix not only are stage veterans but are funnier than most stand up comedians. This is one of the few bands that I have to see every time they are in the NY/NJ area. Each time they come back they get more and more popular. Just see them once and you will be hooked.

This was first time at the Paramount and I will definitely be returning. Great layout and design, large photo pit and good stage lighting.

Photo info: Shooting Steel Panther is simple. They bring the cool rock poses, crazy stage antics and 80's rock star clothing. I aim the camera and push a button. I shot the first 3 songs from the pit and a handful from the middle of the floor. Lighting was very good overall so I kept the ISO at 1600 and fired away.
