Scott Stapp - The Paramount Theater, NY 11/22/16

The opening night of Scott Stapp's "Proof Of Life Tour" played The Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY. Support for the tour is Adelitas Way, Manafest and Citizen Zero.

Scott Stapp know as the lead singer of the band Creed made sure to play a lot of those big hits. They sounded as good as ever and he also sprinkled in a few songs from his solo "Proof Of Life" album. Since this was the opening night of the tour I did not expect the band to be as tight as they were and Scott's vocals were strong the entire show. They opened the show with the song "Bullets", one of Creeds heaviest songs. It definitely got the night of to a great start and got the crowd fired up. They closed the 15 song show with the anthem "My Sacrifice". Hopefully the guys in Creed get together again and do another big tour.

The mannequin challenge videos have been popping up all over the internet lately but this was only the second time I have seen it done at a live concert setting. When you have to freeze over a thousand people in the crowd along with the band, the results can be pretty impressive if done right. The video made the rounds the day after the show on The Paramount's and Scott's Facebook pages if you want to take a look.

This tour has a great line up of bands that all put on great performances. On a side note Adelitas Way had to do an impromptu acoustic performance due to a mechanical issue to their trailer carrying the bands equipment.
