Rock Out With My Shot Out: Foreigner - Borgota Event Center, NJ 5/8/16

Foreigner played a sold out show at the Borgota Event Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

What's better than a Saturday night in Atlantic City and a sold out Foreigner show? If you like classic rock music and gambling, not much. Foreigner seems to always be on the road and after a short run of acoustic shows earlier this year they are back to being plugged in.

Singer Kelly Hanson and the boys got the crowd fired up early and opened the show with the huge hit "Double Vision". Kelly also made a run through the audience during the third song "Cold As Ice".

The one thing I hate to see at a concert is the band stand in the same place the whole night and not interact with each other. Foreigner does not have that problem at all and they interact with each other and the fans from the moment the stage lights come on. The energy on the stage is contagious and you can feel it out in the crowd. Other bands should take note of this. This is why I go to concerts, to hear live music and have that interaction with the band that a CD does not provide.

After Kelly introduced the band to the sold out crowd, he brought out guitarist Mick Jones to the stage. This got a huge reaction from the fans. Mick then continued the rest of the show and was in fine form. Keyboardist Michael Bluestein and drummer Chris Frazier even got there chance to shine with pretty cool solos of there own during the show. Chris did a little water drums during his solo and poured water on his floor toms.

Currently the guys in Foreigner have live shows booked through November so there are plenty of chances to get out and see them.
