Firewind- Gramercy Theater NYC, 2/6/13

Greek heavy metal band Firewind had the middle slot on their tour with Turisas & Stolen Babies. This was my first time seeing these 3 bands, but I was really looking forward to the guitar playing of Gus G.
As soon as he played the opening riff to "Wall Of Sound" I was a fan. His playing is impressive and really effortless at times. Kelly Sundown Carpenter did an excellent job handling the vocals, as Apollo was not on this North American tour. These guys really need to come back to the US and do a full headlining tour.

The lighting at the Gramercy is good but I switched between 1600 ISO & 3200 ISO for the 3 songs I shot. The lighting was mostly red, purple & blues.
