Last years Rock Allegiance was a one stop festival show in PA but this year it returned as a full US tour. The 2013 tour also featured a great international line up of artists: Volbeat from Denmark, HIM from Finland, All That Remains from the US & Airbourne from Australia. Unfortunately about 10 days prior to this show Airbourne had to drop off the tour due to personal reasons back home.
This was my first time seeing all 3 bands but the crowd seemed to be equally into each band. Volbeat did get the biggest crowd support as the headliner. Not sure if it was due to Airbourne dropping off the tour but HIM basically did a full headline show during there middle spot of the night.
Starland Ballroom was rebuilt over the last 11 months from the inside out due to hurricane Sandy, and I was glad to see all three bands were given the full re-done stage lighting. It varied greatly from band to band but made the photos different for each band.
